Pipeline is executed horizontally to the roof of basement or parking or on the top of the terrace. All horizontal lines are connected to vertical pipe lines and tapped to each of the apartment with suitable shut off valve. These lines travel to the distance from the storage facility to the kitchen, necessary shut off valves are provided at every required stage, for use and to meet emergency or maintenance. It is offered with pressure regulators and safety devices. The regulators are designed in such a way that, gas should flow with in the limit of designed pressure and flow, any deviation beyond should shut off the gas supply instantly.

LPG travels through the network of pipe lines, before entering the kitchen, a gas meter is installed in a suitable position, which records the usage of the LPG as it passes through it. Domestic gas meters are fully fire resistance designed and manufactured to work up to pressure of 150 milibar. Then copper tubing with a shut off valve is provided with a nozzle to connect the rubber tube to gas.

It is a regulator in the kitchen that not only reduces the pressure by 81% from 150 millibar to 28 millibar, but is also equipped with UPSO (Under Pressure Shut Off) which shuts off if the pressure falls below 15 millibar due to leakage of LPG at or beyond the meter including the LPG stove, flexible hose or the copper pipe, in the kitchen. This only starts after closing the LPG stove burners for one minute, which ensures that unburnt LPG does not leak in to the kitchen.

It is installed in a suitable position (inside or at entry point of kitchen) that records the usage of the LPG, as it passes through it. Gas meters measure a defined volume, regardless of the pressurized quantity or quality of the gas flowing through the meter.
